Proposals in the Lake District are one of my favourite things to capture – I love the secrecy of all the planning and then the hiding in a spot to capture the moment!
Luke contacted me as he was planning a walk around Lodore Falls near Keswick with his girlfriend and their dog too. The plan was for him to propose at the bottom of the falls but due to miscommunication and lack of phone signal he ended up climbing up the fell near the falls so I had to race after him to capture the moment! All very exciting and a little exhausting with two cameras on me!
Either way she didn’t suspect a thing and the moment was so special. Afterwards we headed up into the fells for a walk up to Surprise View for more photos and a chance to have a look at the ring.
Such a lovely way to start planning your wedding and the Lake District is such a beautiful place to propose.
