I love the location of Storrs Hall for weddings. It is a fabulous wedding venue set on to the shores of Lake Windermere. Perfect for Lake District elopements!
I particularly like the boat house where couples can stay separate to the hotel with their own hot tub and lake vies, the perfect wedding honeymoon location.
Alannah and Andy chose to get married under the summerhouse at Storrs Hall. Andy was waiting patiently for Alannah to make the long walk up from the hotel to the ceremony.
The ceremony conducted by the amazing Cumbria registration service was great with lots of laughter. Afterwards the happy couple celebrated with prosecco and a walk around the grounds of the hotel with me for photos.
There are so many lovely locations for photos with jettys, the temple and the stunning views, there is even a swing for having fun next to the lake!
While the happy couple were posing by the temple there was even a fly past by one of the RAF planes that train regularly in the Lake District!
