We love to photograph weddings all over Yorkshire. For Katie & Scott’s wedding we headed to Snaith in East Yorkshire where Katie grew up. She was happily getting ready in the family house – the smell of hairspray and excitement was in the air! We had time to grab a photo of Katie in the doorway of her house which would be the same exact photo her Mum had when she left home to get married too – such a great idea!
Scott was in the pub down the road the Yorkshire Ales with his groomsmen drinking a specially wedding brewed ale! The ceremony took place in the church in the village, such a great ceremony and then after nearly getting blown away outside we all headed off to the Peppered Pig for the reception.
The location has a lovely reception room for the guests as well as a tipi for the evening reception too. Katie & Scott had decorated the venue with their favourite records and Scott’s speech even managed to reference several David Bowie songs!
In the evening we managed to get some sparkler photos and then headed into the tipi where there was a singer and then of course plenty of dancing!
