It was a new wedding venue for us when we arrived at Normanton Park Hotel for Jodie & Sarah’s wedding, the rain was just about holding off and it was a stunning location on the banks of the lake.
Jodie and Sarah had a room each filled with their “bride squad” so we managed to flit between both rooms for getting ready photos. The excitement was so infectious and both brides looked amazing in their dresses, it was just time for a quick shot before heading off to the Church for the ceremony.
Normanton Church is the most beautiful setting on a tiny outcrop on the lake with the most amazing views, what a way to make an entrance in the bridal vehicles!
The ceremony was lovely with equal laughs and some emotional moments with each bride sharing their own personal vows – amazing!
Then it was outside to celebrate and get covered in bubble confetti! The bubble machine was a genius idea!
Their dogs made an appearance too which was so cute. Guests then headed back to the hotel for prosecco and more photos. Inside the reception room was dressed with lovely details and the speeches were fantastic with lots of family members recounting their favourite moments with the happy couple.
In the evening we managed to head down to the lake again for photos before the dancing began after of course some cake! The cheese cake looked stunning!
Congratulations to you both – it was a pleasure to capture your big day!
xx
