Wow, summer 2021 was a busy one! We had lots of lovely weddings to photograph all over the country from Sheffield to the Lakes.
We headed to Castle Green Hotel in Kendal for Jess & Robert’s big day. When I arrived it was all systems go with bridesmaids getting ready and the bride’s dress hanging grandly on a four poster bed. Jess looked stunning in her gown and her proud Dad walked her down the aisle. Jess and Robert’s little girl was a flower girl and she wanted to be cuddled through the ceremony which looked so cute, little tricky for the ring exchange though!
After a lovely personal ceremony it was outside into the sunshine for some epic confetti photos followed by group photos and a wander around with the happy couple in the fantastic gardens.
Inside the hotel the reception room was set up with lovely details and photos of past brides and grooms, stunning. The speeches followed the meal and were very emotional and of course there were lots of laughs too.
As the sun set on the day guests gathered on the terrace to mingle before heading inside for photobooth fun and some pretty impressive dancefloor moves!
