It was a cold and wintery day for Gail and Gareth’s wedding at Augill Castle near Kirkby Stephen at the edge of Cumbria. The Castle is tucked away from the main road and absolutely beautiful with lovely grounds.
When we arrived Gareth was getting their collection of birds of prey out of the car for people to see after the wedding. We had to use the owl for photos with the rings before the ceremony started!
Gail arrived in style wrapped in a fluffy shawl to keep warm. Inside the castle the ceremony room was lovely and cosy with a fire, perfect for a winter wedding. The ceremony was lovely and personal before the happy couple headed outside to meet their guests and have some photos.
After photos with family and friends guests mingled with the birds and had their photos taken holding them. We also had time for a few photographs with the happy couple in the grounds of the castle before we left them heading off for afternoon tea with their families.
A lovely wedding and a fabulous couple, congratulations!
