It was a lovely summery day for Fi & Neil’s wedding at Ashton Memorial. Its an amazing grand big building in Lancaster, set in Williamson Park overlooking the city, you can see all the way to the sea from the top of there.
Inside the ceremony room is a fab circular space with big windows. Fi turned up with her colourful entourage of bridesmaids and I absolutely love her dress with the flowers, summery and happy.
Neil was greeting guests and waiting patiently inside. The ceremony was lovely with personal readings and even a song which got everyone laughing. Such a happy and fantastic day.
Afterwards we headed out onto the steps into the sunshine for confetti cannons and photos with the bridal party. Guests were treated to ice creams and then a brass band turned up for everyone to follow to the reception venue nearby. A great idea and we all felt like celebrities walking and dancing up the road!
I love how they made the wedding exactly what they wanted it to be with pizzas on arrival and a very tasting looking display of cakes. It was the perfect, relaxed wedding.
