It was a cold wintery and rainy day for Carol and Thomas’ January wedding. Our first of 2023! The rain didn’t phase Carol though who was excitedly getting ready with her bride tribe in Armathwaite Hall near Keswick. Its a stunning venue with amazing views and fortunately for all of us lovely and cosy inside for a wintery wedding day.
Carol and her bridesmaids had a lovely big room to get ready in, plenty of time for lipgloss for the flowergirls and even a mini picnic for the kids before the wedding.
Downstairs Thomas and the guests arrived and settled in. Carol looked amazing in her gown and the flowergirls and adorable page boy Jack nearly stole the show on the walk down the grand staircase!
The ceremony was lovely with lots of laughter from everyone and even Jack fell asleep before he could do his job as ring bearer! After the ceremony the happy couple sipped prosecco with everyone by the fire and we did some photos on the big staircase. There were plenty of lovely places for photos inside as the weather was really poor, however the brave bride and groom headed outside for a few stunning shots underneath our giant umbrella which looked amazing in the dark.
The reception room was dressed lovely with trailing ivy and candles and set off by the spectacular cakes from Thomas’ Mum, stunning and looked very tasty!
After the meal there was time for a few speeches before the kids took to the dancefloor and tried to eat bubbles from the bubble machine. A lovely personal day for a fantastic couple!
We wish you much love and happiness for the future! xx
