Ana and Colin chose to come up to the Lake District to celebrate their wedding with a fantastic day with close family and friends at New House Farm in Lorton.
New House Farm is located in a little village in the stunning valley surrounding Buttermere and Crummock Water, giving it that wow factor for a Lake District wedding venue.
The amazing farmhouse is so cosy for getting ready photos which is where I met Ana and her bridesmaid crew in the morning, Ana looked stunning in her gown accessorised by a pretty veil and she just had time to adjust her bouquet before heading down the aisle. Nearby Colin and his groomsmen were adjusting their ties and checking the rings!
The ceremony takes place in a converted barn which has lovely big windows looking out onto the fields beyond. Their ceremony was lovely and afterwards guests headed outside for the all important confetti throwing! After some fun photos with family the happy couple headed out in style in a landrover from Bspoke by Spike for some photos by the lake. We had fun throwing Ana’s veil around and trying to get some sheep in the portraits!
We even had time for photos by the famous Cumbrian sign “Tek care lambs ont road”!
Once we arrived back guests were heading indoors for their meal where lots of delicious cakes were laid out and with twinkling fairy lights it was very atmospheric. In the evening there was time for plenty of dancing and I left the happy couple boogieing away on the dancefloor!
Congratulations to you both! xx
