Our first wedding of the year for 2024 and it was a chilly one! Fortunately there was no rain though.. We headed to Lady Gillford’s House in Carlisle which is the register office there for Zoe & David’s wedding
The register office in Carlisle is lovely with wood panelled rooms and a lovely stained glass window, fab and cosy for an intimate winter wedding.
Zoe arrived in style in a VW van with her guest and Dad while David waited nervously with the excitable pageboys! The ceremony was lovely and personal – Cumbria registration service are fantastic.
After the wedding we headed outside for some photos, there was chance for confetti although it blew over them very fast! Despite the chill in the air we still managed to find places for some photos outside with the happy couple before they headed off to their reception to enjoy the rest of their day!
