I do LOVE (so much so I had to write it in capitals!) photographing a good Autumn wedding in Sheffield. Hannah & Richard were married in Sheffield in the fantastic Kelham Island Museum. Given that the surrounding areas are very industrial they wanted to head out after their wedding for some photos in the Peak District in the Autumnal colours.
We stopped off on our way to the Peaks at Ecclesall Woods – this patch of woodland in Sheffield is amazing – the colours there are fantastic and there were plenty of opportunities for leaf throwing!
After this we headed to Surprise View in the Peak District – just a stones throw from Sheffield its amazing – the sliver birch trees, the Autumnal coloured heather and the fabulous view of Hathersage from high on the rocks – the perfect place to show off your cathedral length veil – fortunately Hannah’s dad was on standby to catch it when it blew off!
Such a great idea to wear your dress again for some unique photos in the beautiful Peak District!
