Regan dropped me a message last year to explain her wedding plans. Her and Johnny were planning a ceremony in their church in Whitehaven in late afternoon to ensure her family overseas could watch the ceremony online. A great way to include everyone.

As it was late Autumn and with not much sunlight we decided to head to Wastwater before the ceremony took place for some portraits by the lake. We met them by the lake and the weather was absolutely perfect for photos. Regan had brought a shawl to keep her warm – I love her dress with the beautiful details on the straps and of course Johnny looked fab too!

We had lots of fun wandering around (trying to avoid sheep poo!) and then Johnny mentioned he had some light sabres with him for some fun photos – I mean we couldn’t resist them having a little battle on top of one of the rocks!

Afterwards we headed into Whitehaven for the ceremony at United Reform Church. With their church friends in attendance it was a heartfelt emotional ceremony. The church has a hall attached which they could use for their reception and they had made an amazing effort with lots of things for guests to do, little sheep they could make at home and deathstar bottle openers! I loved the decor inside with the lego flowers as table settings.

We managed to get some group photos done before the sun set and then guests were treated to a hog roast reception and then the speeches started. With family and friends sending love to them this was beautiful. The cakes looked so amazing too!

In the evening there was even a quiz followed by fun with a pinata. The most fun filled wedding day ever!
We wish you both much love and happiness for the future! xx
