It was a baking hot July day for Jourdan & Tom’s wedding in Derbyshire. I met the bride and gang getting ready in a nearby self catering cottage where final preparations were taking place.
Jourdan then headed off with her Dad in his vintage sports car to get into the dress at Shottle Hall, we managed to sneak past the guests and groomsmen when we arrived! The ceremony was held outside and I think we were all glad that there were fans out on the chairs – a great idea for a summer wedding!
The couples pet pooch was a part of the wedding as well which is always cute. After the ceremony we had chance for some photos in the grounds and the lovely long grasses which were perfect for pets to bound through!
After some outside games including plenty of badminton, it was time to head indoors for the meal – I love the reception room in Shottle Hall – so stunning. The speeches that followed were both funny and emotional too.
In the evening it was time for more games outside and dancing. I loved the relaxed feel to Jourdan and Tom’s big day – the perfect summery wedding location and day!
