Hannah & Richard, Kelham Island Museum wedding, Sheffield

Touching heads, Kelham Island wedding, Sheffield photographers

Sheffield is such a fantastic city to get married in, the hills, the proximity of the Peaks and not to be missed is the fabulous industrial heritage of the city. Kelham Island museum in the Industrial Quarter of the city is a real hidden gem on the banks of the Don.

The museum can host weddings and Hannah and Richard being fans of the city decided to hold their wedding there. Having already got legally married their ceremony was conducted by Hannah’s father which was so personal and really lovely.

Hannah looked amazing in her lace gown and long trailing veil with a fabulous bouquet from one of Sheffield’s greatest florists Swallows and Damsons.

After the ceremony took place guests mingled in the sunshine before forming a line of bubbles for the happy couple to walk through to their reception. The grand hall upstairs is huge – plenty of space for a dessert table and lots of guests!

We also explored around the grounds, including the Chimney House and the museum for some photos including the essential shot by the “Made in Sheffield” sign!

The reception meal and speeches were fab and then guests helped themselves to sweets and dessert before dancing the night away!

We wish you both much love, happiness and laughter for the future
