What better way to pick us up from our post Christmas slump with a beautiful happy wedding day! Christina and Ian were married between Christmas and New Year and it was such a lovely day.
They were married on the edge of the Lake District in Grange-over-Sands and the grand old Grange Hotel.
Christina and her bridesmaids were very organised making sure Christina had everything she needed in the morning, moral support and even jokes to stop her crying when she got into her amazing dress.
Then it was downstairs with her Dad lending support before she walked down the aisle to meet Ian. I love the men’s tweed suits – perfect for a winter wedding!
The ceremony was lovely and then everyone headed off for warming drinks and even managed some outside photos in the setting sunshine. Indoors I loved how Christina had left out one of her school books with a love story in it as part of her decorations – I wonder if she imagined the day to be how it was!
Guests were treated to a shot table decoration and some cute little champagne cork people too, lovely idea. The speeches were fantastic and just a little emotional!
In the evening there was plenty of dancing – I love how their guests surrounded them in love on the dancefloor – a great way to get the party started!
