This wedding was special as it was Paul’s younger brother Jon getting married and at the tiny village church in Dean where I grew up.
I spent the morning with Emma in the family home where her proud Dad Geoff had polished up his JCB for some photos – the kids loved it!
Their adorable daughter Ruby was a beautiful flowergirl and they were so excited to get into the church they ran down the path scattering petals as they went!
The ceremony was lovely – such a beautiful day for a Lake District wedding!
After the traditional tying of the church gates and money needed to get out the happy couple headed to Broughton Craggs hotel for the reception.
Guests feasted on cupcakes and the kids entertained themselves on the bouncy castle. There was even chance for a quick photo opportunity on Geoff’s tractor too – no respectable Cumbrian wedding is without one of those!!
In the evening there were speeches and plenty of dancing!
The next day we headed out to Crummock Water for some classic Lake District wedding photos!
The grassy knoll in Crummock is a place where Jon spent many a summer jumping off with his mates – he was close to jumping off with Emma too!
What a fantastic way to end an amazing wedding weekend!
