We had a busy October half term this year with three weddings in a row in Sheffield. We love Sheffield weddings and one of our favourite venues is Whirlowbrook Hall – with it’s huge grounds and fantastic team, its always a pleasure to photograph there.
I met Jessica and her bridesmaid crew in the getting ready room upstairs where final preparations were taking place. I adore Jessica’s bouquet, the Autumn colours looked fab, her dress was amazing too with a little lacey top you could pop over to keep you warm! It was a beautiful day with the sun shining and the leaves an amazing colour outside.
Downstairs guests were arriving and James was nervously waiting for his bride to arrive. The ceremony itself was lovely and afterwards we managed to get out into the grounds for a coating of confetti followed by a wander around the grounds and group photos too. I love how Jess and James were up for leaf throwing too!
Inside the reception room was dressed with lots of Autumnal details and guests sat down for their meal. We were interrupted before the speeches with a performance by Craig Squance who got everyone up singing and dancing and even doing a conga line! A fab way to kick off the evening celebrations. Then there was lots of dancing and cake in the evening. A perfect end to a fantastic day.
Congratulations to you both! xx
