We love working at Whirlowbrook Hall – its one of our favourite places to photograph weddings in Sheffield – the staff are fab and the grounds look lovely all year round. Christmas weddings always feel extra special and James & Nikki’s didn’t disappoint.
It was a lovely crisp winters day – none of that drizzle and wind – just beautiful low sunshine. Nikki looked amazing in her dress and we had time for a few family photos by the Christmas tree before she headed off to the Hall where James was waiting nervously.
The Hall looked lovely with Christmas lights and sparkles everywhere. The ceremony was fab with personal readings. The happy couple then headed outside into the winter sunshine for some photos before keeping warm inside and entertaining themselves with table football, ping pong and upstairs there was Christmas bauble decorating too!
The meal and speeches were fab and in the evening there were sparklers and a chance for everyone to take a selfie with some giant cardboard cut outs of their cats!
The evening ended in style with a ceilidh – always a great chance to get everyone on the dancefloor!
