Having already photographed Joy’s sister’s wedding it was lovely to see the family again for Joy’s wedding.
Unfortunately poor Joy was suffering from a stomach bug so it was a slow start to the day – she looked amazing in her gown – love the fresh flowers in her hair.
The ceremony was held at Wycliffe Church just off Ecclesall Road. When Joy arrived at the top of the aisle it was a very emotional moment – love it!
Afterwards the happy couple headed to the nearby Botanical Gardens for some photographs while the guests headed to the reception at the Old Rectory in Handsworth.
I love how they decorated the reception room with lots of tiny origami elephants – so colourful.
They were joined at the reception by an adorable puppy too! Then it was time for a bounce on the trampoline with family before the evening party started with lots of dancing – we love a good ceilidh!
