Carley & Paul decided to celebrate their wedding day in the heart of the Lake District in Windermere.
Briery wood Hotel is a fantastic place for an intimate elopement wedding, the grounds are stunning and the bridal suite has an amazing view from the balcony. Fortunately the sun was shining for their big day and we were able to have the ceremony outside in the Pagoda. Paul looked amazing in his military suit.
Carley was absolutely stunning and walked up the aisle with her Mum who just about managed to hold back the tears for most of the ceremony!
After the ceremony there was time for a few portraits in the grounds of the hotel. After this we headed up the road to the pier at Ambleside for some lovely lake district portraits with the happy couple. Just stunning seeing the sun go down over the lake on a sunny Autumn day.
I do love elopement weddings so much, the happy couple were heading off for a honeymoon afterwards, what a way to celebrate on a break in such a beautiful location.
