I love photographing weddings in Sheffield in the Autumn – its a great time of year, the colours are amazing and if the sun shines its beautiful.
Jess & Daniel’s wedding took place in October with the ceremony taking place at St James Church in Sheffield and the reception in the Maynard in Grindleford. Jess looked absolutely amazing in her blush Ian Stuart gown, such a beautiful colour which was offset with her amazing Autumnal bouquets from fab florist Orchis.
I love the personalised mugs the bridal party had for the morning of the wedding – essential brew time before the wedding!
The ceremony was lovely with great hymns and it had even stopped raining when the happy couple left under a sea of confetti!
We took a little detour on the way to the reception and headed to Surprise View – just around the corner from the Maynard. The views are spectacular and the winter sunshine was amazing. Afterwards we headed back to the Maynard for the reception where guests were treated to mini fish and chips – inside the reception room was dressed with amazing little details, bunting and flowers. The speeches followed the meal and were funny and emotional. In the evening we did a few after dark light trail photos and then it was time for cake and lots of dancing!
We wish you both much love and happiness for the future!
