Sarah & Ansgar

Wood Lane Countryside Centre on the outskirts of Sheffield is a lovely venue for a wedding. Sarah & Ansgar’s family had decorated it with tons of bunting and beautifully smelling flowers. The ceremony itself was conducted by a good friend and included loads of lovely personal touches like the ring presentation box and Sarah’s bouquet which was a rose from each of her friends gathered as she walked up the aisle.

The sun began to shine just in time for some champagne and speeches in the gardens. We heard some great stories about their life as a couple including some of Ansgar’s bird related bravery! The grounds of Wood Lane have lovely wild flowers and a pond surrounded by trees – perfect for photos.

It was then back into the oak beamed hall where food was served, everyone had a little pebble favour with painted butterflies. The evening began very civilized with tea and fondant fancies. Sarah had made and decorated her own cake – a real testament to the effort that had gone into their day. Later on a special acoustic set took place with guests joining in for one number. We left them all dancing the night away.

Ansgar and Sarah are such a lovely kind couple – we wish them every happiness for the future
