David and Julie were trying to pull their wedding day together at the last minute and approached us for photography and advice on cakes, flowers and venues.
A week before Christmas we joined them in the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield for some pre-wedding photographs; David proposed to Julie in the Botanical Gardens so it held special memories for them both. Julie smiled through the cold (thermal underwear was a must) and a squirrel even popped past to say hello!
After an intimate ceremony in Sheffield register office Julie and David enjoyed a ride on the carousel before moving to Kenwood Hall for the reception. Before the meal much fun was had playing Guitar Hero on the Wii!
When Paul and I looked back on the photos we saw a couple so happy, wrapped up in love for each other, we felt priviledged to be invited to share their special day.
They wrote to us to say “Paul and Helen were a huge part of making our day just what we wanted it to be”.
