Carla & James were glad to have worn some comfortable shoes when we met them at Padley Gorge in the heart of the Peak District. We wandered through meadows of stunning heather to reach some rocks, they were brave enough to climb up for a spectacular view of the Peaks.
We then wandered down to the gorge at the bottom of the valley, it is truly beautiful down there with lovely waterfalls, cute bridges and lovely old gnarled trees. The weather was amazing flitting between amazing sunlight one minute and brief rainstorms the next, we were lucky enough to see a glimpse of a rainbow.
Carla & James get married just before Christmas this year, Carla loves Christmas, so much so she has written her cards already! Fingers crossed we get a nice light covering of snow for their wedding.
