Derwent reservoir is the middle of three reservoirs in the Upper Derwent Valley in the north east of Derbyshire. Its a fab location for a shoot – its so huge you can get away from the hikers eyes easily!
Tucked away from the water is a cute wood with some interesting sculptures including a bench shaped like a leaf – brill photo opportunity.
Interesting fact about the reservoir is that during the Second World War it was used as a practice area for the Dam Buster raids.
