Wow, what a year 2011 was, we had lots of amazing weddings and pre-wedding shoots with our fab couples.

A few of my highlights included:

• Dogs and pre-wedding shoots – don’t mix the two with a beautiful meadow of bluebells!
• Shooting my first bridal Manolo Blahniks
• Recreating our Yorkshire take on the Royal Wedding with the amazing Wedding Daze wedding planners
• Our first destination wedding in Temecula, California and the awesome road trip we took before the wedding.
• An emotional and unique outdoor wedding in Whirlow Hall Farm gardens
• Getting a lift around Chatsworth House gardens in a golf buggy with the bride and groom – I am easily excited on a wedding day!
• The light suddenly becoming amazing on a pre-wedding shoot at Yorkshire Sculpture Park – mmm, light!
• Two awesome first dance routines in one weekend, throw in a Persian knife dance and you have a recipe for an amazing August.
• Some lovely cute babies and stunning mothers to be.
• Getting lovely emails from our happy brides after the wedding – we truly love our job
